Going off from my last post. I decided to not use my phone at work today at all. I just felt a sense of freedom from not using my phone. It was nice to do other things, rather than use my phone on breaks. I got to talk to my coworkers. I took in the scenery outside. I did some of my word search puzzles. I got to thinking about things.
I became aware of experiences at work that I normally wouldn’t have being mindful, and away from my phone. I realize how little I miss my phone, and how wonderful living in the moment can be. I just felt free from that type of attachment. Being mindful can help you gain a new perspective on your experiences, and it is quite a lovely journey.
I am now going offline to do my mindfulness evening routine. I hope you all have a lovely mindful morning, day, and evening.
